Not too sure what the notes are as I am new to loving wine...I can say that it is very light and smooth. Very good for the price...would be a good gift and goes well with smoked swiss cheese.

Purchased at Trader Joe's, $4.99. Long one of my favorite affordable red blends, and this bottling does not disappoint. The nose has light notes of anise and mothballs, the latter of which may seem a tad weird, but I've experienced it before and like it. The taste has good tannin and a lot of fruit, and the acidity is really nice - it's a light, juicy, well-balanced red. It was great with a chicken dish, so it's light enough to accompany something other than red meat.

Just tasted generic and grapey. Not much to say

This wine has a plesant boquet. This wine has dark fruit and hints of green spices. There is a light floral finish, but kind of minerally. This wine is a bit too earthy for me.
