I don't think I have ever tried a wine that altered my vision of wine this much before. A wine that is older than my father, yet drinks like a young teen. Absolutely the most astounding wine I have ever had. Period! This wine tasted of fresh bing cherries dipped in the finest dark chocolate, then lightly dusted with a fragrant cocoa. All the while an incense of vanilla and oak are wafting in through the window. A sip of this godly nectar led to a fantastic tannin with a Sensual acidity that led you to ecstacy. Filled with fruit, earth, and all the passion in the world. An amazing wine that I will never forget. The holy grail of my tongue. It was so good I almost wish I never had it so it won't haunt my wine lusting dreams. Amen! (Score updated on 1/24/2007 originally posted on the 5 star rating)
