Turkey Flat 2004 "The Turk"
(about 1 year ago)Nose of blackberry and cassis. Taste of pepper, earth, and cherry. Mild body and weak finish.
Turkey Flat 2004 "The Turk"
(about 1 year ago)Dark fruits, licorice and a bit of red meat on the nose - nice purple color. The balance was a bit off as the fruit didn't seem up to the challenge of the acidity and the tannins, but all in all a perfectly enjoyable wine.
Turkey Flat 2004 "The Turk"
(about 1 year ago)Interesting nose with a hint of cooking red meat (like ground beef!), followed by strong acidity and alcohol on the palate, and finishing with moderate tannin. The mid-palate fell short, though, failing to balance the initial sour acidity and the finish, leaving a hole where the fruit body should have been. Not a bad wine, just not one that I would ever buy again...
