I might be the only one, but this wine reminded me of a good Alexander Valley bottling from Silver Oak: seemingly infused with new American Oak, this wine is thick and dark, with dill, black olive, and sage nuances. Like Silver Oak, this wine is almost over the top, and it is not for everyone. But it is dense and brooding, and I really enjoyed it. I would think it woulk keep for up to 6 years beyond 2006.
