L de Lyeth 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
(over 2 years ago)A decent wine for the price, but pretty straightforward. It had a ruby color with floral and bright cherry aromas. It had nice, dark fruit flavors that were a little simple. The tannins were definitely a bit green.

(about 1 year ago)Pretty weak, watery california cab. I wasn't looking for a fruitbomb with monster tannins, but some structure would be nice. Predominant oak with some plum and chocolate.

(about 1 year ago)Enjoyed this wine. Smooth plum with chocolate flavors. Long but unimpressive finish. It doesn't have to decant long, and it's much better and cheaper than a Mondavi.
