(From the R.H. Phillips website) An abundance of fresh, jammy raspberry flavors elegantly integrated with a touch of toasty oak and spice notes. Soft tannins and a lingering fruit finish. Great barbecue wine.

This wine is very easy to drink. It's a gorgeous purple-red. The nose is a wonderful dry and spicy with a hint of fruit. This wine really smells nice. Tasting the wine is just as wonderful. It's so smooth and goes through the flavors I really enjoy in a wine. It's like flavor bursting in time release capsules on the tongue...weird, I know, but I think it's because you're able to really differentiate the flavors. It starts with a cool berry, rounds out with robust spice, and finishes smoothly nice and dry. This wine is extremely drinkable and at $7.99 you can't beat it.
