What do you want for $3 bucks? Standard Chuck Shaw fare, pretty good Sauvignon Blanc, nothing spectacular though, a cheap New Zealand would probably blow it away.

This REALLY surprised me. Not a big crazy nose and flavor like something from NZ, but not bad. The nose brings a little peach and tropical fruit, the same profile comes through on the palate. You could serve this and someone would have no idea it was $3, now I can't say that for the rest of the 2buck portfolio.

woody citrus and pear on the nose. Palate is...thin yet oakey....sour peach with a slight bitter finish. Turpentine-esque. Flabby. Not crisp. Not TERRIBLE. Not good, either. (I tasted it while cooking with it.)
