2004 Domaine Jean-Marc Chablis Brocard
(over 2 years ago)Wonderful white wine. The french do this the best (apart from maybe the Kiwi's). If the color of fresh grass clippings had a smell, that's what this wine smells like. It's crisp, light and green in flavor. We're drinking it now with Penne and Chicken Vodka, but in all honesty it was better with a hunk of Pecorino while it was cooking. Nothing better than toiling over a meal in a hot kitchen, nibbling the ingredients and "testing" the wine. This is a great hot day, chicken, fish and cheese wine. See cloudy bay for an alternative. EDIT: god knows where this was brought for $52, we got it from our local 'Wholefoods' (not known for cheap) for only $17.99.
