(2007-05-24 19:41:47 UTC)A clean light and fruity wine. A little to easydrinking. Goes great with pork and fruit. One of my favorite wines.

(2006-05-25 10:34:10 UTC)Very enjoyable with no harsh aftertaste. Medium body. I suppose that's true of most Pinot Noirs, but this one is neither too sweet nor too punchy.
I like to try different Pinot Noirs but in between the ones I'm trying for the first time, I always return to Firesteed. It's a very good value.

(2006-05-21 15:03:29 UTC)This is a really nice wine that, for me, epitomises the Oregon taste. It's more full-bodied than some other Pinot Noirs, making it a really good wine to have with red meat like lamb or a filet steak.
It isn't always easy to come by over here in Europe, but whenever I'm the States, I always keep an eye out for this (or Big Fire; possibly my favourite Oregon Pinot Noir).
