This is a decent inexpensive sparkler. It's my "standby" for casual events that call for a sparkling wine. Not remarkable, but reliable and good.

Simple, but pleasing.

Pale color, average bubbles. Very tight nose, sweet apricots and melon. Very very closed and cloy. Smells well rounded and sweet. Cantaloupe and Honeydew melon coming through on the taste, with a little bit of Bitter apple in the background. Simple, yet refreshing! A TINY and I mean tiny like a Smart-car bit of sweetness, only a hint, keeps things interesting in this wine. Overall a bit lacking in complexity, but makes up for it in approachability.... Weak on the finish, but otherwise a decent domestic sparkller. A good bubbly for friends who are not yet ready for fine champagne, but tired of spumante-sugar-bombs. I will surely purchase more.. it was under $10, and a great effort for the price!
