(over 2 years ago)I like the honey taste I get from this, although it can get a bit rich.

(over 2 years ago)Delicious to drink. It's our favorite wine to have with with ice cream and a movie. A sweet wine with a nice, citrus and honey aftertaste. Also very inexpensive, often find it at Safeway for $6.

(over 2 years ago)My favorite wine with spicy food such as thai or Indian. The slight sweetness in the wine accentuates the sweetness in the food and the peppery notes complement spice in the food.

(over 2 years ago)Fantastic as a sipping wine on late spring/early summer evenings. It also has a bit of a spice to it, which makes it a nice match for Chinese foods.

(over 2 years ago)Excellent budget bottle. Easy to drink with or without food, though the sweetness can sometimes be slightly overpowering. Overall a great wine.

(over 2 years ago)Very smooth and sweet, and easy to drink. Lots or fruit flavour, perfect for summer. I was told that the winery uses sustainable growing practices.

(over 2 years ago)Wonderful! A slightly spicy, very fruity wine with a slightly floral nose. Notes of apple and pear, with a nice honey finish. Excellent with spicy foods.

(about 1 year ago)This is one of my favorites. I enjoy it with fish, chicken, pork or just by itself. It has a nice feel on the tongue. Very good for the price. I usually find it for around $8-$9 at Stater Bros.

(about 1 year ago)Very sweet, smooth and wonderful honey apricrot aroma.

(about 1 year ago)I served this wine at this past Thanksgiving dinner, it was a hit with the turkey and dressings. The sweetness and crisp tartness went very well with 'grandma's best' recipes. A bit apple juice wine-ish, but delicate and tasty nonetheless.

(about 1 year ago)easy drinking, lightly sweet, even my non-wine-drinking boyfriend liked it. Serve it to people who think white zin is wine and they may just be converted to the real stuff!

(about 1 year ago)I really enjoy this Gewurtztraminer. It is very inexpensive and goes very well with a spicy food. Sweeter than most Gewurtz but still good with a meal as well!

(about 1 year ago)I enjoyed this Gewurtztraminer. It had really nice fruit flavors. Probably one of my favorites.

(about 1 year ago)The nose was a little tight, with hints of apricot and pears. Great fruity taste, a lot of peach and apricot taste, with a nice honey finish. Great with spicy food, or on it's own.

(about 1 year ago)I thought I caught some apple on the nose, but the bottle-given description of "rose petals" is right on. It's definitely fruity, giving off peach, apple, and pineapple flavors, and the finish sticks with you. I served it slightly chilled, so I can't wait to taste what goes on when it warms up.

(10 months ago)not overly sweet, went great with the Thai dinner my husband made. I am finally writing this review about 1 1/2 weeks after drinking it, but I do remember that I really like it and I would buy it again

(8 months ago)Great wine for the price point and for those occasional wine drinkers who may not like dryer wines. Nice floral bouquet and honey on the nose. Slightly creamy mouth feel. Sweet, fruit-forward with good finish.

(8 months ago)I only paid $7 for this wine, so I really wasn't expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised, though. On the nose, hints of florals, apple, a little pear, and some apricot. On the mouth, there's a nice creamy feel, and the taste is slightly sweet with strong (though not sherbetty) fruit, a little honey, just the faintest hint of wood and spices, and neat though not overwhelming acidity. This doesn't have the strong spice of European Gewürztraminers, so those looking for a very spicy wine should look elsewhere (although those who find the often-extreme spiciness of European Gewürztraminers a bit of a turn-off will be pleasantly surprised). Nonetheless, it was a shockingly nice tasting experience. There's a slight spritz to it as it's poured and in the few hours after it's opened, which disappeared 24 hours later when I finished the bottle. The flavours opened up surprisingly well on that 24 hour tasting, though, so I might even recommend giving this one a year to see if it develops into something even more intriguing. The finish wasn't long, but was pleasant while it lasted, with the honey and apricot notes emerging as the longest-lasting on finish. Overall, this wine was a *great* value. I'd recommend it readily to friends, and to anyone serving asian cuisine: it paired beautifully with my spicy pad thai.
