St. Supery calls this their tropical fruit basket in a bottle and I agree. The nose is apricot and nectarine while flavors of citrus permeate the palate. It’s very sweet but not quite a dessert wine. High intensity flavors with a light structure make it a great sipping wine on a warm summer or fall day. The structure is opposite of a syrupy sweet wine and that’s the main reason I enjoy it since I’m not a sweet wine fan. The St. Supery tasting room is one of my favorites in Napa. Although the buildings look like an office complex on the outside, the staff is over the top friendly and they have a large selection of wine that appeals to a wide variety of tastes.
