2005 Ironstone Vineyards Symphony "Obsession"
(about 1 year ago)Just like the most beautiful Symphony that you ever heard - - Magnificent fragrance, extremely smooth and soft, great for the palate, fabulous aroma, no words can describe its beauty, just delicious and cool, fruity, clean and refreshing, ..... Serve Chilled.

(11 months ago)WOW, this wine is awesome! I don't usually like whites as much as reds (especially sweet ones), but this was a really terrific wine. On the nose, I smelled flowers, kiwi, and fruit roll-up (seriously). The flavor was very sweet (but not TOO sweet like some Rieslings and Gewurztraminers). It was very easy to drink, very crisp and refreshing, and well-balanced. I thouroughly enjoyed it with maple-mustard pork chops, brown rice, and grilled apples. I will DEFINATELY drink this wine again! And what a steal at $8!

(11 months ago)Haven't tried this one in awhile, and enjoyed it more than ever! It was perfect with a spicy baked fish dinner. The nose is big-time honeysuckle, with a hint of pear and apple. Not unlike a good German Riesling. There's a nice acidic tang to the nose, and it certainly carries into the taste. Very refreshing, mouth-filling, fruity and floral. A top notch wine at a bottom notch price - $5.99 at Trader Joe's in Gilbert AZ. I'll head back for more after the next paycheck!

(6 months ago)What a great white wine! This is the first time that I like a white wine that is not a Riesling or a Liebfraumilch. Honeysuckle on the nose with a touch of acidity. Starts sweet on the palate but finishes crisp and clean. Very easy to drink and very affordable.

(4 months ago)This is one of my all time favorite wines! If you like whites that are not super dry but not syrupy sweet either, then there's no better bottle for the price. Anyone ever been to the Ironstone Winery? I'd love to get out there sometime and see where the magic happens.

(4 months ago)Surprisingly balanced, a little bit of a sparkle. Overall a great wine with some fruit, bread and cheese.
