2001 Sokol Blosser Evolution #9
(2009-12-11 23:14:41 UTC)Color: watery pale yellow. Clear. Nose: Nose of white flowers, some minerality, moderate aroma strength. On the palate: Hint of sweetness in this otherwise-dry wine...probably from riesling components. Medium mouth feel, very smooth feeling yet fresh acidity levels. Moderate-strength flavors of citrus and slight mineral notes kissed by lemon peel and essence of melons, tangerines, and tiny tiny bit of pear. Paired with chicken fricassee and dumplings and this was nice. Something about the hint of sweetness with this heavier savory chicken dish just worked.

(2007-12-21 20:11:00 UTC)This is a white that pleases most everyone.
It can be enjoyed by both new and experienced wine lovers.
Perfectly blended to produce a slightly sweet (but not too sweet), fruity (but not too fruity), refreshing and delicious wine.
I go back and forth but I believe Caymus Conundrum is better.
Great with sushi,light seafood.

(2007-08-21 00:42:59 UTC)Light spring yellow hue. It doesn’t have much scent. It tastes like summer, with elements of honey and apple and a texture like that of champagne. The flavor is poised through the finish.
