Really delicious full flavor with notes of ripe currants, oak, cedar and flowers. This is definitely a new world style wine, despite its old world pedigree. Long finish. Amazing value -- drinks like a California Cab at twice the price. 2001 was a great year in this region and this wine really shows it.

Nothing bitter about it. Easy to drink, smelled good, very fruity. Served in aroma glasses...and I didn't even have to pay for the bottle (gift certificates rock)!
