Sight: Deep red & very clear. Aroma: Smells of red fruit at the start but is quickly overtaken by alcohol. Taste: A quick sweet note at the very start gives way immediately to an herb note that we can't identify. Slightly watery & quite tart with a medium finish ... an odd contrast, which is how we feel about this wine in general: somewhat at odds with itself.
