After trying the 2003 I was expecting great things... WELL, I was amazed to find that the 2004 had taken what I thought to be near perfection to the next level. This is a generously fruit driven wine with beautiful balance which is amazng given the NOON alcohol level,16%. Just like the master Drew Noon the Piombo crew have built a truly memorable wine and one well worth enjoying.

Absolutely solid. Don’t bring your kids to this block party. Serious amounts of fruit tonnage as would be expected in a quality Aussie Shiraz. 16% but not to worry, the wine seduces the heat with the ridiculous fruit payload. Yellow Tail this is not.
