Piombo 2003 Shiraz
(about 1 year ago)Awsome booze. This is one of the few crowd stoppers I have come across in a while. Beautiful pure fruit with every complex component in complete balance. Simply a stunning wine. Unfortunately the producer, Sellicks Hill Wines, is tiny and the only sample I got to share was bought by a mate of mine who knows the family, he majority of the wine was exported to the UK. If you have the chance to grab a bottle then go at it with both hands.
