When I initially smelled this wine I was expecting the worst. All fruit punch. That syrupy punchy mass-produced nonesense like drinking a stags leap, berringer, or vendage. Ouch. But it was misleading. The wine makes a decent showing- green pepper, casis, the fruit punch turns to spicey fruit on the palette. But to be honest, I can't get past the bouquet. It whaps you hard as soon as you get the glass within a foot of your kisser. Another negative would be the finish. There isn't one.
