Possibly the skankiest California Pinot I've tasted, and I love it! Huge nose of earth and dark berries. An additional cheesy smell dissipates after some air. This is the earthiest, chewiest pinot this side of Burgundy, where you'll pay three times the price. Smooth tannins let you consider, and enjoy its funk with or without food. Organic and completely natural and unmanipulated, to boot.
