(over 2 years ago)Peach, apricot, and mango come through very strong and nice. Wonderful balance of fruit and acidity.

(about 1 year ago)Very aromatic nose with fresh lemon juice, red apples, and mango. On the palate there is bright fruit but a 'stale' aftertaste... stale is the best term I can come up with. I have a feeling this might be the lychee component but I do not know what lychee tastes like. If lychees are a bit bitter and 'stale', than ok, it's a lychee component. If lychees are not bitter and stale than this wine has a problem tasting a little bitter and stale. Either way, I think it is a turnoff and would have a hard time pairing with any food. I also think the acidity is a bit weak and the body is a little light. They missed the 'creamy' mark they were shooting for by blending half oak fermented juice. Not a terrible wine, certainly drinkable, but I can't see really enjoying it on its own or with food due to this stale and bitter component. Now I am off to find a lychee to add to my flavor repitoire(sp?)
