caveat: totally new to reislings In retrospect, this wine was opened years too early (like I said, new to reislings!). However, in the interest of sharing TNs: Loads of lemon sour candies, as suggested by GV in WLTV episode #169. At room temperature, it is a truly delicious drink; after refrigeration, I found it more one-dimensional, more sweet, and less complex. It is slightly too sweet for me, a red wine fan. But I appreciated how well it paired with spicy, oily-in-a-good-way chinese food. There are hints of cinnamon on the finish. At 8% alcohol, you could easily finish the whole bottle eating chinese and watching the second season of Arrested Development. . . you know, IF you were in to that sort of thing. . .
