A pleasant Pinot Noir with red berry flavors. Not as good as the cheaper Castle Rock Pinot I had the next day.

The nose wasn't much to get excited about. Cherries and perhaps a sweetier smell of candied fruiit. raspberries, cherries and tea. Was not thrilled with this pinot for $21. The '04 had some good buzz. But the '05 (to me) had no complexity, lacked depth and was little thin. Pinots are about finesse and this just didn't have it. Starts with a nice raspberry and cherry flavors The finish short and not memorable. Lack that broad mouth feel. Over priced at $21. Hold out hope for '06?

Nice nose of wild cherries and some pepper. Strawberries and light red fruit make up the profile. In a never ending search for a value Pinot Noir, this one at least has some QPR points at 23 bucks.

Nice strawberry and cherry flavors, appealing bouquet. A little thin on flavor and body. Good value, I suppose, but also unspectacular.
