Well, unfortunately this will only be a preliminary review. A little bit of cork rot ruined it. It didn't kill the wine entirely, but definetly affected the overall experience.
The bouquet was very corky, and the wine had gone over the edge. Exposure. This wine was dying of exposure to the elements. And a rotting cork.
Despite all that, great fruit, heavy mouthy grenache. Casis, green pepper. Tart tannins and a long leathery finish. I am off to find a pristine bottle.
