Near-black with a glimmer of crimson. Powerful, meaty nose with crushed berries. Plush mouthfeel with oak over plummy/dark cherry fruit flavors and a mineral edge. A bit like a cherry cordial. A little prickly on the finish. All-in-all a rocking little wine for under $10.
