Superb! Gorgeous Maconnais wine. This is what I believe to be a truer expression of Chardonnay than the California oak bombs. Beautiful minerality and acidty frame the light fruit notes and subtle perfume. Note on the bottle, "Sous le bois" meaning "under the wood" or as we'd think of it "under the oak". This wine did spend a touch of time in oak so there's that nice french oak toasty/cedar aroma and taste present. Highly recommended.
