Aromas of strawberry, cherry and leather with a hint of a musty basement. Again, strawberry and cherry with a smoky, spicy, tannic finish. This wine opens up quite a bit when given appropriate air time. Rather impressed overall, didn't expect much at such a low price point. A bit tannic, but not too bad. This wine didn't fall apart over the course of a few days.
