Organic / bio-dynamic 100% Gamay The second largest Cru, Morgon, lies within the commune of Villié-Morgon and covers quite a large area. Classic Morgon is highly individual in nature, dense, often high in alcohol, with wild cherry, kirsch, apricot and gooseberry flavors and a sensational bouquet. It’s often called the most ‘Burgundian’ of the crus and is know to age very well. This Morgon is all that and more. It explodes from the glass with a myriad of red fruit aromas. It’s a layered, seamless wine crammed with raspberries, strawberries, cherries, and blueberries.

(about 1 year ago)Drank like a Pinot Noir -- refreshing, medium bodied and red cherry and blueberry notes. Silky mouthfeel. Perfect with duck.
