Trader Joe's Coastal 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)had the (dis)pleasure of tasting this worthless bottle of fermented grape juice about 3 weeks ago. i wouldn't even give this to my worst enemy. TJ's wine has sucked for a while and this only confirms it.

(8 months ago)First note: the previous reviewers apparently got bad bottles. I found this wine to be very enjoyable. Light tannin in the nose, along with a hint of mothballs, something I've come to appreciate in some red wines. Some definite blackberry lurking, too. The taste has good tannic bite and plenty of fruit, but is round & soft overall. Maybe a little thin in body. Doesn't taste expensive, nor should it. Nice daily sort of wine.

(6 months ago)I agree, this wine delivers for the price. In fact, air it out a little and you may pick up the bell pepper and leather/tobacco that I do. I do get some berries there on the mid/end. Some wines could easily be $10 with similar or lesser.
