I will truly miss this wine. Decanted the bottle and let open for ~15 minutes while finishing up dinner. The tannins and fruit have really mellowed and created a silky, smooth, long-lasting finish that actually made us *STOP* and *SAVOR* this bottle. Strong cherry and currant notes - the "bigness" of the vintage when we bought it ~10 years ago has mellowed into an incredible wine. If only we had one more bottle ...
