Very old world. I love the earthiness of this wine. Note: it is spelled Bourgueil.

Great vegetable, green pepper, and tobacco components. Very nice.

DARK color. The other reviewers weren't kidding about the vegetal component. But that is complimented nicely by some dark fruits, a rust/blood componenet and gripping tannins. This wine is both growing on me and getting better with air. Nice!

I didn't expect this wine to be like this. Purple color. Medium/light body. Very earth driven and subtle flavours of black pepper, grean beans, red fruit. Vibrant acidity, bone dry, some sweet tannins in the finish. Overall good wine but it didn't catch me.

Great bottle, wonderful intro to Cab Franc - very old world, dirt, and very veggy. Nicely balanced wine that I think could be a tad more expressive.
