strong barnyard oder and flavor backed by cherry and blackberry flavors. Finished with strong, mouth drying tannins. A powerfully flavors wine that I really enjoyed. Tannins are a bit overpowering. I wonder if a few years might mellow the tannins and blend the flavors.

It was ok. The taste was sharper than I had expected after seeing such a high wine score at the liquor store. It was better with food than on it's on.
