Husch 1999 Pinot Noir (Knoll)
(about 1 year ago)Cherry cola, with maybe some mint or other as yet indeterminate herb... sage without the smoke?
Purple/brownish, with an amber glow around the edges of the liquid. A slight taste of bark or moss, possibly oak. Silky smooth; juicy.
It starts out like plum and finishes with the definite cherry/cola follow through, with perhaps a little anise. Leathery, rubbery texture. Well balanced and complex.
