This is a big, bad, bold wine. HUGE aroma, and nice smoky fruit flavor. Some nice pepper and currant flavors. For the price, this certainly beats the shit out of Ravenswood, Rabbits Ridge, and some of the other 14.99 and under zins, but I'd like to see a little more bark than bite.
