Lily 2005 Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)The rating on this may seem high for what I have to say, but for $18, this might be a bigger hit for others than me, so I can't bash it completely. It if simple, and really fruity. I was hoping for something more feminine, but didn't get it. Lots of vanilla and black cherry, but not much else. This is a good Pinot Noir for: 1) People switching from Merlot 2) People swtiching from Shiraz looking for lighter. Serious Pinot fans may not love this, I thought I would, given that this is the second label of Chasseur (excellent Pinots). Try it, but only if you aren't looking for Pinot.

(about 1 year ago)I enjoyed this Pinot Noir. I must admit to being more of a Cab fan, but with the shrimp pasta meal we had, I thougth it was a very good choice.

(about 1 year ago)My touchstone for pinot noir. Strawberry and tobacco and earth in perfect balance.
