This Shiraz is handcrafted from a blend of grapes from highly prized local vineyards specifically selected by Kevin O'Brien. The skilled craftmanship in both the vineyard and winery results in a wine that shows bright aromas and flavors of spicy blueberry and plum with a subtle hint of chocolate and beautifully integrated oak.

Fruit bomb. Big blueberry flavor, some plum, slight chocolate and a little oak. This is a good Aussie Shiraz - exactly what I would expect. 14% alcohol but does not overpower like some other Shiraz that I have had.

Very nice, inexpensive, McClaren Vale Shiraz. Dusty and dark on the approach, a little strawberry dipped in dark chocolate. Tannins say hello, and then goodbye. I don't know why they say goodbye, I say hello...hello, hello... I'm enjoying it now with some wedges of Parranno cheese--"The Dutch cheese that thinks it’s Italian" Delicious!

I really enjoyed this one. Black cherry, bit of earthiness and chalk to it. A little too sweet a finish but forgivable.
