(about 1 year ago)Great pizza wine. Very nice performance for $8. I've always got a few of these in my house. Fruity but dry, easy drinking and smooth, really coats the mouth (and the teeth!). Best with food and left open to breathe for an hour or so.

(about 1 year ago)Ive read a lot about this wine sinse I picked up the $9 bottle. It sure has a reputation as a great deal, and I have to agree. I rarely pick up bottles more than once, but I will definitly be looking for this next time Im at the store. A great wine to keep around for regular consumption with dinner.

(about 1 year ago)Bouquet: Tight Nose, but when it finally came out some plum, some dusty attic and a blanket of sour cherries. Flavor Profile: Delightful, a nice muted mix of sour cherries, pipe tobacco, dust, and mild touches of red fruit. With food, delightful. I was really taken a back on how delicious this wine was with food. Very good table red for your Friday night I-Talian Meal.

(4 months ago)Tight nose. Cherries and cola flavors. Less tannins than I expected. For a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese blend, it seems most Merlot-like.

(4 months ago)Rich ruby color, smells like...red wine. Packs a punch of fruit and dryness at the end, little bit of wood. A good by-the-bottle.
