Alc. 14% by Vol.; from winelibrary.com: "Made entirely from from estate fruit grown at the Rathbone's families Parker Coonawarra Estate. The vines are over 30 years old. Winemaking takes place on site at the Parker Coonawarra winery. The philosophy is to create wines with intense fruit character and great balance that are seductive and enjoyable when young."

2004 Waca Cabernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)Great fun wine; explosive NOSE of sugared berries, especially strawberry. Add some perfume and red-twizzler, very candied. The palate continues the strong strawberry and red berries. Tannins are almost absent as well as the finish, but the wine still preserves favorable balance. Good value, good bottle.

(about 1 year ago)Great candied fruits with a good finish. A bit one dimensional, but very nice in that dimension. Good value and could be an everyday drinking wine.

(about 1 year ago)I remember I liked it. Took it a bit to open up. I remember it being fruity and fun but this is all going off memory from having it about 2 weeks ago :(

(about 1 year ago)A good value, but something just didn't do it for me.
2004 Waca Cabernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)Solid ruby color. Nice fruit on palate with some spice. Better the second night. Okay, but better when you consider the price.
2004 Waca Cabernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)Bouquet: Cherry Jolly Ranchers mixed with blackberries and touches of alcohol and fruit loops. Flavor Profile: Smooth, nice slashes of berries and ending in a mellow bitter finish. A tad dry at the very end. Overall a good inexpensive Cab.

(about 1 year ago)Red fruit and slight vegetal aromas with licorice. Also, some mint. Soft texture, mild tannins and light-medium body. Sweet dried cherries on mid palate with black raspberries on the finish. Nice, drink--anytime fruity Aussie.

(about 1 year ago)Wine library was really pushing this wine, and had it under their "best selling reds" section for a while with a 90 point rating! I bought a couple a bottles and was pretty disappointed. It's not a bad wine, but it's got very little depth and an overpowering sour cherry (for me unpleasantly sour) finish. There are better bottles out there, especially from Australia, for $10. Let me know if you agree!
