Produced from the first pressing of several varieties of red grapes, but never less than 60% Croatina. The colour is typically brilliant ruby red. There are fresh, fragrant aromas of red fruit with notes of flowers and hay. On the palate, the wine displays an enjoyable persistence dominated by the fine balance between the tannins and its typical, fresh acidity. Although it is a wine for any meal, it has a particular empathy with soups, boiled meats and fresh cheeses. Best at room temperature.
