part of blind vertical tasting (2000, 2001, 2002) - I tasted this second. On the nose I found "sweaty sock", egg, sugared blackberry, slight vanilla. On the palate, shorter finish than the 2002, but much smoother, more subtle acidity, and nicer ripe tannins. Spectacular balance in this bottle and a great petite sirah.
