A classic blend "En Tirage" for at least 2 years of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir give this sparkling wine intense aromas such as green apples and hints of grapefruits. 12% alcohol.

Gruet Brut (NV)
(about 1 year ago)New Mexico, huh? Well what do you know… This was pretty damned good! Lots of nice flavors of apple, a bit of apricot, and some refreshing lemon. It's got a nice crisp dry finish, with just a hint of vanilla. Remarkably good, especially for the price! I'd totally buy this again. Way to represent, Albuquerque!

(about 1 year ago)This was surprisingly good. Who knew they made champagne-like stuff in New Mexico? Very apple-y with light pear and vanilla notes and really exuberant bubbles. Very enjoyable.
Gruet Brut (NV)
(about 1 year ago)Light straw color and light body. Weak fruit, nice acid, but short and dry. Pleasant, but not nearly as interesting as the Blanc de Noirs.

(about 1 year ago)Decent wine...nice fruit, great bubbles, but I really miss the mineral tastes. Update - Received another bottle of this as a gift, and it was better than I remember - I don't know if it was a different batch or a better food pairing or what, but bumped from 85 to 87.
