2003 Guenoc Victorian Claret
(about 1 year ago)Cherry black with ruby reflections with silky potent tannins. Plums, herbs and berries on the nose, thick on the palate with hints of licorice, blackberries and oak with a persistent finish. I personally don't like wines that overwhelm the mouth and I think this is one of those. I think I'll buy another two and drink them in one or two years. Let's see if time will digest the potent fruit and release new flavours.

(about 1 year ago)There are many flavors in this wine, but it is not overpowering. It's fruity, with hints of chocolate and licorice, with a medium-bodied finish. I drank this wine over two evenings and it was actually better the second night after sitting in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy it with spicy foods.
