Cherry black with ruby reflections with silky potent tannins. Plums, herbs and berries on the nose, thick on the palate with hints of licorice, blackberries and oak with a persistent finish. I personally don't like wines that overwhelm the mouth and I think this is one of those. I think I'll buy another two and drink them in one or two years. Let's see if time will digest the potent fruit and release new flavours.

There are many flavors in this wine, but it is not overpowering. It's fruity, with hints of chocolate and licorice, with a medium-bodied finish. I drank this wine over two evenings and it was actually better the second night after sitting in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy it with spicy foods.
