It a never ending search for a value priced Pinot Noir I went back to the tried and true Mark West. This light, red fruit, red cherry and strawberry wine fit perfectly with the Caprese salad and antipasta that Diane prepared for lunch. An 86, but at 11 dollars a nice QPR.

Unpleasant finish. Thick and licoricy. A faint hint of sawdust.

Light fruit with a lot of oak. Not bad but I wouldn't buy this one again.

Tried as it was featured by Total Wine as a good value buy on pinot noir. However, I was not impressed by this wine. The flavors are descent, but not very dense and not enough fruits come through. There's a nice spice note on the finish which is interesting. But not full-bodied and i didn't like the pale color of the wine itself. LIGHT CHERRY/SPICE/LIGHT BODIED
