Baby Del Rey 2004
(about 1 year ago)Aroma of blueberry, wet rock, plum, and a little bit of the locker room. Similar tastes with a lot of heat from the alcohol, maybe a little pepper. Finish dries out the palate. I think that this wine needs several years to settle down.

(about 1 year ago)It has that very dark, almost raisiny character that I associate with syrah, but the firm tannins keep it from being too heavy in its smoothness. I saw blueberry and plums in one review, which sounds right, and I'm also getting a floral note, maybe lilacs.
