(about 1 year ago)*The wine shows good color density with youthful purple red hues. The aromas are enticing spicy, red fruits of raspberry and sour cherry with licorice and black tea spice. The palate delivers a full, yet supple wine with great raspberry and cherry Zinfandel fruit presence and richness of flavor.* *taken from their website But I totally agree with it and recommend it as a bottle under $11 Cdn it's not too spicy as the write-up above uses the word spice a couple of times. It's actually smooth and a easy drinking wine.
