La Loggia 2005 Barbera D'Alba
(about 1 year ago)Did not care for this wine. Tasted of under-ripe strawberry with a somewhat peppery finish. Can't complain much though for the price.
La Loggia 2005 Barbera D'Alba
(about 1 year ago)Aroma of red raspberry, palate of leather, sour cherry and raspberry. Tasted a bit weak and acidic. Was much better with food than without. Would not get again, even for the low price paid.
La Loggia 2005 Barbera D'Alba
(about 1 year ago)Purchased at Trader Joe's in Tempe, AZ. Peppery anise in the nose, and a hint of strawberry jello and mothballs. The taste is young and a little raw, good acidity, some tannin, some cherry, and definite pepper. I think some cellaring would help - the character could blend more. Not great, but not bad.
