3/27/07 decanted for four hours while leg of lamb was braising. deep purple color. tar, cherry, tobacco nose. earthy up front leading to a dusty cherry mid palate. grows bigger on the medium-long finish. good complexity and well integrated tannins. dinner was great, too.
