Nothing complex to this wine, simultaneously, nothing to wince at. It's a nice wine for the price and I would gladly serve this to guests or take it to parties. A good mild mix of "jam" with a little bit of spice.

Jammy with black pepper and leather. A nice wine for the price, with nothing obnoxious.

Some cherry and pepper on the palate, pleasant nose. Thin on the midpalate and the finish, and I think there are better ten dollar zins out there. There's nothing offensive about it and it's fairly good...

a nice mid-bodied zin with everything you'd expect from california. (oaky, smoky, peppery, tannic, with a long finish). But there were some special things: marachino cherry and juniper on the finish! If only it were less oaky and a bit more balanced.

A tasty wine that is pretty good to drink alone, but was accentuated by cheese and food. On the nose dried cherry, plum, rasberry, pepper, and slightly smokey. The palate is a somewhat light body with moderate tannins with sour cherry, unripe stone fruit and some spice and smoke. I would get this one again. I think it was regular $14, but I got it onsale for $10.
