2004 Gigondas Moulin de la Gardette "Cuvée Ventabren"

I expected a lot more from this bottle but it seemed to be very muted. The nose did not have any fruit (or much anything else) other than cement mix and earth; and on the palate, the wine was extremely watered and inexpressive. It did have remnants of what a southern Rhone wine should taste like, but not much else.
