Burrell School 2004 Principal's Choice Estate Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Yes! This is as near perfect a pinot as I've ever tasted. This vineyard knows pinots and it's estate ones are terrific, we tasted a ton at a recent event and I'm sad I didn't buy a case 1/2 for next year's 2005. This was amazing! Know wonder they called it Principal's choice! Perfect wine nearly, just a bit to much sediment cost it 5 points. The fruit, tanin's, alcohol, body, color were all perfect, this wine was frickin awesome! And we got it as part of a club set for $70 with 2 other really good wines in Feb. Bold and lush this wine is as good as many fine bordeaux's i've had and some of the best $50+ wines. My only regret is I can't even buy more of this yet and they may run out before I can! WAAH!
